SHRINKING THE DISTANCE…

For remote working to be successful you must have consistency in each of the following:

  • Connection

  • Communication

  • Clarity

Nurturing employee morale and supporting wellbeing has never been more important than in these times of remote working.

Be the consistency in a time of uncertainty

It is essential that your organisation strengthens its culture and keeps employees connected to the business and each other, this may mean reinforcing your purpose and mission, establishing clearer communication and equipping your leaders to engage and inspire. At LSM we design courses that encompass learning for your complete remote strategy or for individual elements of it.

Our Playbook

Back to the ‘New Future’ - equip people to return to work, with new norms, changed agendas and being crystal clear on who we want to be going back to work.

Thriving virtually - working in a virtual world has been thrust on to many of us with little notice or time to adapt. There are many techniques that can be adopted easily.

Ninja networking – learn how to make your existing network work better and make the best first impression to widen your network . Understand how to build a positive network and make lasting connections.

Leading remote teams – finding the balance between communication and engagement is paramount when leading a team of individuals who are not all in the same location.  Become a better listener and support your team with techniques to ensure that everyone has clarity and the opportunity to perform to their utmost potential .

Negotiating from a distance – now we are pretty much doing most business remotely the need to collaborate and negotiate is even more important than before.  Use proven negotiation theories and transfer these skills to working remotely.

Building an inclusive remote culture - sustaining a strong company culture whilst working remotely needs very clear instructions, regular touch points and utilising organisational behaviours to create community.

Remote leadership the same rules apply as for leading co-located teams, however a leader must be much more explicit in building and maintaining relationships, making sure everyone understands what has been agreed.

The Remote TTT suite - LSM has specially designed a series of 90min Train the Trainer modules for trainers with varying degrees of skill and experience. They have all been designed with the flexibility of remining standalone or stacked together for longer sessions. We recommend a maximum of three session to safeguard learning transfer.
